As a Contract Talent Sourcer with the Peoples United Bank, you will directly impact our business results by sourcing and screening top quality talent. Talent Acquisition is critical to the success of our business and we need social, savvy recruiters and sourcers to support our aggressive hiring goals and share our leadership principles, core values, and passion for innovation with each and every candidate.

Job Duties:

- Partner with Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers to establish sourcing and recruitment strategies to create and foster active and passive candidate pipelines

- Understand the hiring needs and build targeted sourcing plans, managing the hiring manager's expectations along the way

- Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for challenging-to-hire vacancies. Source the very best candidates using a variety of channels that are aligned to and effectively communicate the employer brand (CareerBuilder, Indeed.com, LinkedIn and Kenexa)

- Evaluate employment qualifications such as job experience, education and training, skills, and knowledge and abilities for non-exempt and exempt positions through resume/profile review and phone screening as appropriate

- Facilitate internal mobility through partnership with Talent Acquisition Managers, HR and Hiring managers as well as mastery of Applicant Tracking and internal Talent Management systems (Kenexa/Brass Ring)

- Track and communicate sourcing activity to Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers as necessary

- Actively participate in providing feedback and recommendations to enhance day-to-day recruiting operations

- Continue to build Talent Pipeline and manage communications of openings and news
