NTS is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow business/programs within designated strategic/major Aerospace accounts in CT. The selected candidate will have a successful track record of growing business within large Aerospace/Defense Accounts. Will maintain, expand and grow sales for existing key strategic accounts/customers and serve as the primary business contact, responsible for building long- term relationships with customers; to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. This position can be remote (working from home) as long as you are located in CT.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Capture management

* Consistently providing excellent customer service to accounts

* Establishing and building relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business opportunities

* Prospecting and expanding the opportunity with the customer by understanding what the customer wants and by submitting offers

* Increasing opportunities, bookings and sales at their assigned customer accounts.

* Preparing and executing account strategy plans

* Delivering world class customer service; managing and supporting the account related needs of an assigned set of strategic Customers

* All customer communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on customer deliverables and revenue

* Review of all major deliverables (i.e. Quotations, Schedules, Customer Resolution, etc.) to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met

* Ensuring that customer issues are dealt with in an efficient manner and informing Sales Management of any problems that may arise

* Working closely with the sales and operations teams in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

* Ensuring that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable

* Being aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business from existing accounts

* Communicating the customer's goals and representing the customer's interests to the team.

* Providing regular two-way communication between the customer and team; to provide strong team representation and set proper customer expectations

* Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the customer

* Proactively identifying Accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to address any at risk Customers and reach out to these accounts to ensure they are retained as Customers.

* Proactively developing relationships with key Customers and provide feedback on ways to improve business

* Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned Customers on a regular basis to review service needs. Identify products and pricing that meets customer needs and business objectives.

* Regularly meet and visit, face-to-face, with the Customers.

* Address customer concerns and ensure the resolution of issues in a timely manner, with follow-up when appropriate.

* Responsible for identifying business trends, forecast demand and prepare the annual sales budget

* Deliver ongoing market analysis and assessment of competitors and market intelligence with a focus on the future and value creation

* Account retention through the development of strong relationships with key decision makers and users within an organization

* Ensuring that Customers are proficient in using NTS services by identifying user needs and providing training and consultative services

* Report and provide regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis

* Working closely with and supporting Strategic Account Managers
Working closely with operations and the quoting group in helping and ensuring all relevant information is gathered in a timely manner and understanding and supporting in preparing quotes * Up to 50% travel

Required Experience:

* Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and able to pass a drug test, DMV and background check

* Must be local in CT

* 5+ years of sales experience within large Aerospace/Defense Companies (preferably UTAS)

* Bachelor s Degree is desired

* Ability to travel up to 50% nationally

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and interaction skills.

* Must be a team player

* Technical acumen (engineering related) or knowledge is highly desired
