Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for a range of order management, client support and administrative activities for the global NexantThinking Reports and Subscription Programs within Nexant's Energy & Chemical Advisory Group. The ideal candidate must be very hands-on in day-to-day operations, be client-oriented (both internal and external) and have a strong attention to detail.Work closely with the Business Leaders/ Global Sales Team and interface with multiple internal and external clients to support the sales activities for all NexantThinking products.Assist with subscription renewal campaigns, inside sales and price quotes for clients.Monitor/update status of opportunities in Salesforce.Work with legal and financial teams to prepare, review and modify subscription contracts and documents as required by clients.Manage administrative functions of the NexantThinking online delivery portal, including client activation lists, adding users to web accounts, uploading published reports and related activities.Send regular notifications to clients about report activation, usage statistics, etc.Coordinate with accounting to create invoices and submit them to clients.Monitor A/R and assist accounting with collection efforts.Provide client support for general product inquiries and redirect technical inquiries to internal experts.Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets and Word templates for reporting and tracking purposes.Maintain and update directory filing systems to comply with audit requirements.Manage inventory and shipment of print copies of reports to clients. Qualifications 5+ years of work experience in a sales support specialist role or similarBA or BS degree is requiredExperience in the Energy and Chemical industry preferredProficiency in Salesforce is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookDemonstrated project coordination experienceExcellent presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills in English; works well with other functional groups and can communicate effectively with all levels of the company and external businesspartners for interacting with clientsPositive and flexible work attitude, particularly in new initiativesDiplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awarenessCapable of developing and maintaining strong client relationshipsStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, highly organizedProficiency in foreign languages is an added bonus Salary and Benefits (U.S.) Nexant offers competitive salaries based on candidate's qualifications.
