Location is flexible for Providence, Rhode Island area or Springfield, MA as well as Milford CT.


Dedicated to selected charter Higher Education accounts with the responsibility to retain and grow market share. Primary focus is to drive advanced services into the 7 Higher Ed Key Value Areas and integrate solutions across all business lines.


* Acting on behalf of Ricoh as the primary sales interface to your assigned list of charter higher education accounts.
* Being well informed about current industry trends and the ability to talk intelligently about the higher education market.
* Maintain expert level knowledge of Ricoh's Higher Ed Value Proposition and each component of Ricoh's Higher Ed Key Value Areas.
* Actively participate in integrated account reviews, account planning sessions and consult within a team based work environment to drive account strategy and ensure identification of sales opportunities.
* Conduct on-site client business reviews (including pre call preparation and post call follow up) that are scheduled at the appropriate times based on a university's academic calendar.
* Ensures client renewals by continuously enhancing the quality of service delivered and pro-actively identify new opportunities that will expand the client partnership.
* Development of net new accounts and retention & growth of existing advanced services accounts by applying a consultative approach to C Level contacts/customers
* Organizes and implements post-sale delivery and implementation of Ricoh solutions at customer locations.
* Fully utilize and leverage CRM to manage the business by capturing significant conversations, client facing activities, pipeline development & management, and forecast commitments
* Identifies, creates and implements action plans for all at-risk accounts
* Meets forecasting objectives
* Meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit expectations
* Attendance and participation in industry conferences, trade shows and events as assigned/requested
* Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

* 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field
* At least 5 years successful business-to-business sales experience with at least 2 years experience in strategic client management
* Industry experience in Higher Education and track record of closing new accounts is preferred.
