Company Description:

Design Products Company (DPC) was launched by Frederick Lagosh in 1977 with a vision toward becoming the leading supplier of drafting instruments throughout the Northeast. Over the next 30 years DPC adapted innovative changes in technology to become the leading reseller of wide format 2D output devices, supplies, service repair and maintenance to the manufacturing, engineering and architectural industries.

In 2008, Tim Lagosh took over as President of DPC. Tim is a mechanical engineer (BSME) who trained as a research engineer at the Heat Transfer Research Laboratory at UCONN. He subsequently worked with Wright Laboratories, NASA and the Lee Company where he worked with aerospace, formula one racing and the offshore oil tool industries.

Tim's focus has been on expanding DPC from wide format equipment sales and service to providing 3D printing services and equipment, 3D Cad Modeling services, Prototyping and Engineering Verification Testing, Machine Design, Design for Manufacture, Tooling Design and Design for Additive Manufacturing Services. With Tim's manufacturing, engineering and product design experience DPC has differentiated itself in the market through the value proposition of providing concrete cost savings, innovative expansion of capabilities, and decreased time to market using 3D printing technology.
