The Field Access Specialist (FAS) will be responsible for managing accounts in a specified region responsible for the Cardiometabolic Therapeutic area. The FAS will be responsible for reaching out to office personnel responsible for patient acquisition and timely utilization of pharmaceutical and biologic products. Their responsibilities include ensuring optimal access, effective pull-through, ensuring understanding of access services and program support in collaboration with the HUB services organization as it relates to the Regeneron Cardiometabolic product portfolio.

Job Duties:

• Partner with REGN and Sanofi counterparts in the Sales and Reimbursement areas on overall account and territory strategy as it pertains to payer and provider access

-In cooperation with Sanofi and REGN Medical Specialists, develop and execute a Strategic tactical plan for the execution of Cardiometabolic product access and reimbursement initiatives relevant to the defined needs of each respective account within the defined customer market

•Execute against established performance parameters and monitor personal performance against these agreed parameters

o Meet and exceed expectations for working closely with collaboration partners as assigned; REGN and Sanofi District Sales Managers, Medical Specialists and FAS team members in assigned geographical areas. As well as across the Marketing and Access and Reimbursement teams, along with the Region and home office personnel at REGN and Sanofi, Sanofi National Accounts Managers, Hub based Nurse Educators and additional Sanofi counterparts as defined, to insure optimal coverage and customer knowledge of this process and all REGN patient services within defined accounts

- Maintain knowledge base necessary to ensure support of all access and patient/payer support programs offered by the HUB.

• Assist in providing insight throughout the development of Market Access marketing support materials as needed

• Ensure individual training and knowledge is maintained to the level required to guarantee that REGN personnel are seen as the most knowledgeable team in the industry as it pertains to access and reimbursement in the Cardiometabolic therapeutic area

• Ensure training is completed and kept up-to-date to insure clinical differentiation of the product can be made through effective presentations

• Develop and execute annual budget with allocation within respective territory.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in pharmaceuticals and / or sub-cutaneous self-injectable biologics working in a matrix environment.

-Bachelors Degree required

-Experience in self injectable biologic products a plus

- Experience working with products delivered through a Specialty Pharmacy network a plus

-Strong collaboration skills required

-Background in leadership and effective teamwork a plus

- Established ability to work within an Account Management based structure

• Ability to function within an organization with evolving organizational structure, lead and influence cross functionally within various Regeneron departments and across the collaboration with Sanofi at multiple levels

-Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

-Knowledge of CMS policies and processes with expertise in Part D (Pharmacy Benefit design and coverage policy)

• Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors

• Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems

• Strong strategic planning skills

-Strong interpersonal skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to rapidly assimilate information and a fast paced environment

-Ability to multi-task among a number of high value tasks within REGN and Sanofi when necessary and produce results in accordance with predetermined time lines

• Ability to develop and maximize relationships across multiple levels within the organization

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills

• Additional broad based experience valued: sales operations, sales training, marketing, and/or sales management, and/or supply chain

• Previous experience in launching new Specialty Pharmaceutical / Biologics products or indications
