Responsible for the overall development of technical and editorial content and message portrayed across Oracle's digital channels in execution of the company's digital strategy

Responsible for the development of digital content on web and technical decisions for assigned programs. Writes summaries, blogs and abstracts of policy materials for social media, email, web and other digital channels. Research and execute best practices for planning, writing, and disseminating digital content; and for engaging audiences online. Create digital content including blogs, galleries, briefs, infographics and articles for Oracle's products and services online and print publication. Posts digital content on web and engage audiences via social media and optimal SEO practice. Take a metrics-driven approach to optimize content strategy. Assist in the identification of the objectives for digital applications and coordinates the development of content to meet defined objectives.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Knowledge of digital design, flow and site organization. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.

The Oracle Utilities marketing team is looking for a bright, talented Content Strategist to help us tell our story. You'll join a tight-knit team of global marketers who define and deliver our message - on our blog, across social media, in print, digitally, at conferences, and anywhere else the right idea needs to resonate.

Successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a diverse writer who is social media savvy and strategic.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

* Create compelling assets to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver pipeline contribution

* Develop, draft, and publish original content for Oracle l Opower blog

* Build and manage Oracle Utilities social media strategy, including our presence on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook

* Write/edit engaging short-form and long-form content, such as whitepapers, infographics, blogs, ebooks and web copy

* Collaborate with demand generation and product marketing teams to develop content plans that align with each stage of the buyer s journey

* Manage content development and design process for all campaign assets, some in collaboration with the Product Marketing team

* Measure results and optimize content on an ongoing basis

* Support PR efforts through research and story development

*Preferred Qualifications*

* 3-5 years of experience, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing, or another field where great writing matters

* Bachelor degree, ideally in relevant field

* Proven proficiency in social media best practices, experience representing a brand on social media

* Knowledge of the energy/utilities industry or past experience at a tech company a plus

* Published writing samples

* Strong quantitative, analytical, or statistical skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office

* Self-starter and vocal idea contributor

* Ability to be both tactical and strategic; excellent trouble-shooting skills required

* Excellent verbal/presentation skills

* Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as outside vendors

* Ability to manage multiple deliverables with simultaneous deadlines in multiple time zones in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to work out of our Arlington, VA office highly preferred
