Job Description:

Linux Admin/DevOps Engineer responsible for implementing and managing the tools, processes and cloud environments to automate our build, testing, deployment, and production infrastructure. You will build and manage this infrastructure to ensure the availability and performance of the servers used by our internal and external customers. Oversee configuration, build, deployment and release management strategies. You will interface with Development, Quality Assurance, Customer Support and Operations teams daily. You will help implement the tools and environment that ensure the delivery team's success. **Benefit Package includes UNLIMITED PTO*** ResponsibilitiesDesign, promote and support Continuous DeliverySeek quality and cost savings by automating any process we execute more than onceManage the source code repository for products and customer implementationsDevelop and maintain Continuous Integration processes, tools and execution; includes test frameworks, code quality analysis, etc.Design, promote, and support microservicesIncrease deployment reliability and frequency while reducing frictionsDevelop and manage test automation frameworks Develop and manage the build and versioning of code releasesImplement deployment processes that entails packaging releases, pushing releases and executing installsSupport customer infrastructure for cloud deploymentsConduct DevOps tool research, evaluation, proof of concept, installation, configuration and trainingParticipate in process analysis and documentation Qualifications5+ years of application development experience, preferably Java and JavaScript web application developmentProficient in both Windows and Linux administrationDemonstrated abilities in network administration and securityDemonstrated ability with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or PythonAdministrative experience with Cloud server environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and/or OpenstackExperienced in Agile software development practices and tools, such as Atlassian JIRAExperience with version control systems, such as Subversion and GitExperience with Java application build processes and tools, especially Ant, Gradle, Jenkins, and ArtifactoryExperience with provisioning configuration management, and containerization solutions such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, Mesos or similar technologiesExperience with developing and supporting PaaS and IaaS architecturesDemonstrated experience with common data stores, both relational and NoSQLExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting a highly available platformDeep knowledge of software deployment, versioning and release management processesExperience working with and supporting software development and production server environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, constantly expanding environmentExperience with documenting proceduresAble to troubleshoot and resolve internal and customer problems in a timely mannerStrong communication, interaction and customer service skills with external customers and staff members
