Looking for an opportunity that exposes you to a wide variety of sponsorship properties and programs?

This is a phenomenal role for you then. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for the day to day relationships with a major payment services client, and their corresponding travel Merchant. This position exposes you to a wide variety of sponsorship properties and programs, which is not only really interesting but great for your career growth.

You will coordinate and work with various teams internally to ideate, curate and execute a variety of unique events for clients, staff and consumers as well as develop strategic marketing opportunities with key agency verticals. You'll work closely with the sports, culinary, arts & culture and entertainment teams to manage relationships and plan all elements needed to create high level, experiential events. Role & Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead new key Merchant team, for payment services client

* Responsible for development and implementation of operational and tactical sponsorship marketing activation programs for payment services client, and related travel Merchant including, but not limited to:

* Development of activation concepts

* On-site programming development and implementation

* Asset leveraging

* Coordinate client, agency, partner and vendor relationships

* Ticket allocation & management

* Budget accountability, tracking, and reconciliation

* Act as day to day contact for payment services client, specifically supporting travel Merchant

* Develop new marketing activation ideas, strategies, and deliverables

* Develop tailored experiential event strategic plans, to facilitate growth for important travel Merchant

* Manage numerous projects simultaneously, specifically large-scale custom experiences with related sponsorship relationships

* Lead the creation of event reports and recaps for each experiential event

* Create and manage program budgets and timeline


* Bachelor's Degree in a related field

* 5 years agency/client service experience

* Minimum 2 year(s) experience in specified field such as sports sponsorship, or event marketing

* Experience working across a combination of strategic, logistical and tactical projects

* Proven success in building positive client relationships, as well as managing "up and

* down"

* Experience managing partner relationships including vendors, suppliers, and assets with some negotiation skills

* Capacity to become an expert on client's brand and the state of client's industry

* Proven supervisory experience with the ability to hire, manage and mentor junior staff

* Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal. A writing and PowerPoint assignment will be part of the hiring process

* Budget management and/or reconciliation experience

* Collaborative in nature with a "no job is too small" attitude to assist with overall account

* team duties and additional programs as needed

* Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects

* Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Ability and flexibility to travel domestically (25% - 50%) and weekend/holiday work as needed
