Job Description:

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to become an integral part of our Supply Chain team! The Inventory Control Specialist role is responsible to execute on and drive processes that ensure inventory accuracy, deliver effective property control and report audit activities to support the client requirements. Responsibilities ???Perform cycle counts & rack audits on a daily basis for components, raw material, chemical and finish goodsLead end of month /end of year inventory cycle countEvaluate transactions to resolve count discrepancies.Achieve and maintain accurate inventory record keeping though reconciling physical counts against system dataWork closely with the warehouse team to maintain orderly storage and warehouse location systemManage 3rd party packaging relationship for logistical concerns relating to S/H, pickup and delivery, and documentationPerform inventory conversions so that orders reconcile with one code, converting individual item codes to case code to create uniform inventory data Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and reporting any replenishment needs to the Procurement ManagerIdentify and escalate as appropriate issues regarding the handling and storage of product.Execute defined work instructions, procedures, as well as company and safety policies.Provide ideas/insights to refine established procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, improve quality, or reduce cost.Continually work with management on projects and opportunities for optimization Education/Experience Requirements:Associates degree preferred; HS Graduate/GED and some upper education requiredPreferably 2+ yrs warehouse experience - inventory counts and inventory managementProven track record of success in roles that demand a high level of attention for detail and organizationUse of SKUs and organizational references for managing inventory location and levels.Profession experience keeping inventory data in Excel; ERP experience is a plus Skills:Strong / proven attention to detailMulti-tasking - keeping mental track of many moving parts with attention to detailDeadline orientedHighly accountable personality typeA head for numbersAbility to work within a team-oriented environment and facilitate stakeholder communication.Ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the company.Good planning and exceptional organizational skillsMS Excel
