The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and secure learning environment. The Wethersfield High School Band represents Wethersfield High School at multiple community functions, performs at competitions, parades and athletic events. The Assistant Band Director will assist the students in preparation for these performances during a pre-season camp in August and three weekly rehearsals throughout September and October. The assistant provides instruction to the students in both musical execution and visual interpretation and assists in the management of the band and color guard at performances throughout the year including parades, athletic events and competitions.

Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, experience teaching high school aged students, experience in filed music (marching band or drum corps) and have the willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
