* *This role will be based in the Northeast**

The Region Sales Manager (NAN) will serve as the lead NAN sales representative within their respective Region. Their responsibilities will include identifying & converting large regional NAN opportunities, facilitating innovation launches across NAN brands by supporting MDMs with gaining distribution while also selling in to new accounts, interfacing with regional sales teams (Distributor/Field) to execute against NAN KPI's and priorities, and providing local support to launches of new NAN items at National accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate cross-functionally with region sales, national sales, distributor HQ personnel, region FSV finance, and NAN headquarters. They will work collaboratively with all parties above to execute NAN KPI's/priorities.

Execute Region NAN Sales Plan:

* Serve as subject matter expert and provide tools and programs to existing sales teams

* Identify and close large regional sales opportunities for NAN brands by working with Field and Distributor Sales

* Increase NAN brand penetration within targeted new breakfast accounts

* Identify distributor voids on key NAN items and work with the local team to sell and close these opportunities

* Provide brand expert support and tools at key regional distributor meetings

* Foodshows

* District Meetings

* General Sales Meetings

* Provide feedback to headquarters on any promotional activity, including managing success measures

* Provide OTJ (On the Job) training and oversight of core NAN growth strategies

* Monitor and share score-carding of Regional NAN KPIs

* Drive distribution and new operator account sell in of key innovation initiatives annually

* Conduct region training for MDMs, KAMs and FSRs

* Share best practices with national headquarters and national peer group

Support the Execution of NAN National Sales Priorities:

* Ensure seamless execution of new sales at National accounts

* Distributor stocking of needed products

* POS distribution and execution

* Be the local contact ensuring compliance of new National account sales initiatives

* Represent NAN brands and execute regional trade shows of our National account partners

Interfacing with Headquarters and Other Duties as Needed:

* Travel for training and roundtable discussions

* Provide feedback and monthly report-outs on identified opportunities

* Offer insights and support to develop AOP


* Bachelor's Degree required

* Must have 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of influencing customers, and meeting sales targets

* Candidate should be comfortable with making presentations, and training groups of up to 100 people

* Must able to initiate change management, inspire others to think differently, and collaborate with the incumbent workforce to make change happen

* Candidate needs to have strong computer skills and demonstrate a competence and comfort with various systems tools; including Microsoft Office, Apple / iPad, Other internal IT systems and reporting programs

* Candidate must be able to analyze sales data and other insights, and offer tactical and strategic solutions to solve problem and grow the business

* Position requires 10-20% overnight travel

* Must be authorized to work in the United States
