Job Description

Aon is looking for an Account Specialist II

As part of anindustry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients bydelivering innovative and effective solutions as part of Aon Risk Solutions, in Stamford, CT. As an Account Specialist II, you will reportdirectly to the Resident Managing Director.

Assists AccountExecutives or Brokers on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serveclients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related tothese processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers as necessaryparticularly on Commercial Risk business.

Your impact as an Account Specialist II


* Maintainseffective and productive relationships with clients. Serves independently in aclient-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexity.

* May act asthe Account Executive for assigned non-complex accounts. May act as placingbroker on simple routine placements or renewals.

* When notperformed within a broking unit, gathers and analyzes data on exposures, losshistory and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with theBrokerage Unit.

* Performssubmission assembly/creation where assigned. Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients,AE and Broker account team members.

* Managesclient open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.

* Gathersand analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans,stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs ofthe audience and the circumstances of the presentation.

* Activelysupports and monitors the renewal process.

* At thedirection of the Broker, drafts quote comparisons and follows up for binders,policies and endorsements.

* Whereapplicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services,coordinating activities of the client service team to ensure that key processesassigned are performed effectively and quality of client deliverables.

* Primaryinterface on client administration matters.

* Receivesand manages routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.

* Serves askey client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, locationadditions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium financeagreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.

* Understandsand works in alignment with the Aon Leadership Model.

* Ensuresoperational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements

* Monitorsand follows-up on invoice generation, fee agreements,

* Datainput, receivables and collections.

* Addressesand resolves problems.

* Mayprovide guidance and mentoring to a less senior account specialist. Delegateswork to support staff and groups where applicable.

* Performsrelated duties as assigned.

YouBring Knowledge and Expertise


* At least 7 years of successful insurance experience,preferably with corporate commercial accounts/customers.

* Proficiency in PCoffice products such as Word, PowerPoint,

* Excel and Outlook isrequired.

* Evidence of ability tobecome proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.and actions.


* Brokerslicense preferred


* Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent years of industry experience.
