Human Resources Client Manager

LOCATION

Stamford, CT

SUMMARY

Human Resources Client Manager supporting the Investments team and Corporate Development. Position reports to the SVP, Human Resources - Investments & Corporate Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Support client leaders in the areas of career planning, coaching and performance feedback for the leaders and associates on their team.

* Provide support for the development of annual reviews, job design, staffing and compensation activities.

* Lead Human Resources processes including organization design, leadership and employee development, salary planning, performance management, performance development review and Organizational Leadership Review, assessing training needs and employee relations activities.

* Participate as an active member of the Genworth Human Resources team in driving the key initiatives in support of the overarching people strategy for the business.

* Lead organizational effectiveness work to drive enhanced business capabilities and facilitate more effective employee engagement.

* Develop training plans based on assessment of organizational needs and operating budgets.

* Partner with training and OE leaders in Genworth to share best practices and leverage resources to accomplish our training and development strategy.

* Participate in Organization and Leadership Review planning/follow up with specific responsibility for strategic thinking and execution.

* Lead the execution and follow-up of the All Associates Survey.

* Conduct new hire orientations.

* Provide HR strategic support for technical training initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business or other relative discipline

* 5+ yrs Human Resources experience in the areas of compensation, employee relations, organization change/development

* Demonstrated project management skills

* Proven leadership and influencing skills with ability to energize and motivate others

* Track record of delivering on commitments

* Knowledge of Human Resources information systems and their applications

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting to and interacting with senior leaders

* Experience supporting client groups in multiple locations

* Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* MS in Human Resources or related experience

* Financial services or insurance experience
