PRIMARY PURPOSE: The role is responsible for providing analytical compensation support which will be focused on global external market data and for providing specialized compensation support to U.S.-based businesses. Duties may include in-depth research, analysis, design, development, implementation, communication, and ongoing administration of a variety of compensation processes, programs, and plans. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Global compensation data analysis * Coordinate data compilation for global compensation surveys and participate in submission of data. * Analyze global compensation data and trends obtained from surveys plus internal market data and participate in the review and creation of compensation structures. * Contribute to/ develop process improvements for market intelligence databases and analytics. * Perform financial analysis and modeling of incentive program payout factors and design elements. * Assist in the development of compensation presentations and reports (i.e. summarizing current compensation programs and research of potential programs). U.S. business support * Train business HR professionals in compensation-related subjects and be the "go to" person to assist the HR professionals in making sound compensation decisions at the time of hire, during an employee's tenure with the company and at the time of separation. * Regularly analyze incumbent pay and provide one-time or phased remediation plans to address identified issues. Regularly follow up on planned changes to ensure executed as expected. * Participate in integration of employees obtained through acquisition through analysis of job leveling and proposed elements of compensation. * Partner with the business in the design and review of special compensation programs and/or incentive systems to support the organization's objectives (includes sales incentive, contests, short term variable compensation, premium programs, etc.). * Ensure adequate documentation of business compensation programs is completed and that implementation and administrative procedures have been established. * Review and approve special compensation awards and direct the administration of compensation such as SRAs. * Assist in determination of exempt/ non-exempt status and provide support for diversity, EEO and other compensation reporting and analysis. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, or other business related discipline required. * Minimum 3 years experience in compensation, benefits, or financial analysis required.
