SUPERINTENDENT CEDAR HILL CEMETERY Established in 1864, Cedar Hill Cemetery is a non-sectarian, privately managed, nonprofit organization. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Cedar Hill Cemetery's reputation as a premiere example of the American Rural Cemetery is enhanced by its historic landscape, sculptured monuments, and natural resources. The superintendent is responsible for leading and participating in the management of Cedar Hill Cemetery. The successful candidate's resume shall include the following: Demonstrated successful leadership experience as a grounds superintendent, experience in a historic cemetery is a plus Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with the bereaved Strong leadership skills to lead and manage a team of dedicated employees, as well as recruit and train new employees Knowledge of financial and budget management Ability to operate heavy equipment, light trucks, power and hand tools CANA crematory operator certification (or willing to obtain) This is a full-time, year-round position that offers competitive salary and benefits, including health insurance, paid vacation, sick days and holidays.
