Position Summary:

Hartford Healthcare Corporation (HHC) is seeking an experienced administrative assistant to support its centralized contracting team. Hartford HealthCare, with more than 16,900 employees and $2 billion in net revenue, is Connecticut's premier integrated health care system. This administrative assistant role will enhance HHC's contracting process by providing information-management support, team support, and HHC client communications, among other roles.

Responsibilities:

* Uploads data to and maintains contracts and information in HHC's contract management program. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of the information maintained in HHC's contract management program.

* Monitors the status of contracts and with the assistance of other members of the team, makes and responds to inquiries from HHC clients regarding contracts.

* Compiles data and maintains database regarding contracts and runs reports.

* Schedules conferences and teleconferences for contracts team.

* Prepares multiple documents and redlines using technology tools.

* Represents team by communicating and obtaining information; following-up on delegated assignments; knowing when to act and when to refer matters to the team.

* Maintains client confidence by keeping information confidential.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

* High school diploma required; College education preferred.

* Minimum of three years of experience as a legal administrative assistant.

* Knowledge of contracts preferred.

* Flexible and solutions-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.

* Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

* Fast and accurate typing skills; Ability to work independently and in a team.

* Understanding of basic business relationships and confidentiality principles.

* High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products, SharePoint and advanced software functions including contract and document management systems.

* Ability to train and/or supervise others, coordinate work activities, prepare legal correspondence and documents, transcribe dictation, interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and to organize and maintain files and records.

* Good organizational and proofreading skills
