Job Description


The Channel Account Manager will report to the Director of Channel Sales. You will manage our largest retail partnerships (The Home Depot) to achieve lead volume and bookings objectives for the channel's residential markets. You will provide leadership and guidance on lead generation for residential solar systems and home energy efficiency audits as well as manage in-store third party lead generators. Developing and driving lead generation strategies, sales bookings performance is the key to success in this role. You will be measured on how well you build and manage long term key channel relationships as well as your ability to ensure 100% channel partner satisfaction.


* Lead and Manage team of Retail Lead Generators, motivate, train and coach

* Drive lead generation to meet bookings goals and objectives

* Increase third party lead generators' effectiveness

* Manage and report the lead generation forecast and program metrics

* Conduct regular channel review meetings internally and externally

* Drive improvements in the lead generation & sales process to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the channel team

* Comfortable analyzing data and able to make decisions based on sales metrics

* Work with Marketing Channel Manager to achieve expected goals

* Work with Senior Management of THD aligning goals and metrics Requirements

* Minimum of three years of successful account management B2B experience in Home Improvement, Retail Sales

* Must have strong PC skills and experience with MS Office and CRM tools

* Presentation and demonstration skills also required


* An MBA degree is preferred with a Bachelor's degree a must

* Good communications skills, leadership skills and the ability to work well in a cross functional team environment are essential

* Competent in assessing customer needs, building relationships and identifying sales opportunities

* Ability to work independently with solid time-management and organization skills

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

* Excellent customer service skills required

* Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal driving and drug screen

* Must have valid state driver's license

* Must have clean driving record (example no DUI in last 5 years)
