Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: The Business Services Associate with primary responsibility as a Mailroom Clerk handles incoming, outgoing and interoffice mail, using both manual and automated methods. They meet or exceed the requirements and expectations of the customer's employees in their requests of the Business Services Center (including mail services, printing, copying, and faxing) in an enthusiastic, motivated, professional, detail and deadline oriented manner, with an ongoing commitment to increasing customer satisfaction. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist in the sorting and delivery of mail, faxes, and completed projects. Assist in drop box runs, rush pick-ups and fax runs. Process all incoming and outgoing envelopes and packages from UPS, FedEx, etc. Prepare any volume mailings including folding items and inserting into envelopes, or operating automated equipment. Process outgoing mail by weighing and affixing postage either by hand or postage machine. Maintain accurate tracking of jobs, pick-ups/deliveries and other documentation. Follow schedule of designated mail runs. Check, clean and supply postage machine. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in housekeeping/office moves as contracted with the customer. Understand the use of printing, copying, binding, and faxing equipment and provide support in the completion of tasks for the customer. Check, clean and supply all BSC and convenience copiers and fax machines according to the daily schedule. Assists in the move, storage, and retrieval of records and files as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively. Work involves quality control and a strong attention to detail.
