Company Description:

Like many great technologies in the world, for Alcohol Monitoring Systems (AMS) (the ??Company??), it all started in a garage. In 1989, the founders of AMS, who had years of experience with breath alcohol testing technologies, first began working with the science of transdermal??or ??through the skin????alcohol testing. This group of scientists, engineers, programmers, and alcohol testing experts worked closely with researchers in the fields of biology, forensic toxicology, criminal justice, and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation in order to develop a better way to monitor criminal offenders long-term, around-the-clock for alcohol consumption.

After years of development, the first operational SCRAM ?? (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) prototype was completed in 1993, and the first patent on the product was issued. In 2016, we celebrated a milestone: More than 2 billion alcohol tests on more than a half million individuals have been conducted with SCRAM CAM??that??s more alcohol tests than all other remote alcohol testing technologies combined.

Since those humble beginnings, we have evolved into a multinational, multi-product company that is a major player in the corrections technology industry. We??ve launched several new products and services, but we??ve also held on to our roots.

In addition to our flagship product, which is now known as SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring ?? (SCRAM CAM ??), our product suite includes: Remote Breath ??, a portable, handheld device that individuals carry with them for random or scheduled breath alcohol tests; SCRAM House Arrest ??, which utilizes basic RF monitoring to keep individuals at home during required periods; and SCRAM GPS ??, which monitors high-risk individuals 24/7. The products are all marketed as part of the SCRAM Systems ?? suite of products, which all integrate into a single software platform known as SCRAMNET ??. And this is just the beginning!
