Senior sales executive --- part-time
Salary (not posted), The AIM Group, the worlds leading consultancy in the field of classified advertising and interactive media, is seeking a part-time, contract sales executive to develop new business and maintain relationships with our current clients. The position requires about 40 hours a month, is work-from-home, and offers a high degree of flexibility. It requires a focus on finding new clients across a wide region --- North America, Asia, Australia / New Zealand, and India --- and staying in touch frequently with our clients to make sure they are happy and to uncover new business opportunities. Compensation is a combination of an ongoing retainer and significant commissions. The AIM Group publishes Classified Intelligence Report, "the bible of the classified advertising industry. We have a wide range of clients, including dot-coms; media companies; technology vendors; investment companies; niche classified sites and publications, and more. Our renewal rate is better than 90 percent, so we must be doing something right. We also offer a wide range of consulting services. You'll be expected to craft complex proposals for prospects and current clients, based on a "needs assessment" conversation with the prospect and (typically) one of the AIM Group principals. Our sales are about 90 percent warm leads and 10 percent cold-calling. We generate a steady volume of leads online, by our worldwide reputation, and through phone and personal contact. We also target various industries on a regular basis following a schedule of publishing projects. We also generate leads through participation at conferences worldwide.
