The Position:

SWA is hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper who will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and the preparation of periodic financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company's financial performance. The Full Charge Bookkeeper maintains the company's current year and long-term financial forecasts and budgeting process. Working as part of a team the Full Charge Bookkeeper is professional, ethical and discreet. The Full Charge Bookkeeper is also responsible for generating the monthly reports from the financial software system and managing the process and vendor.
The analyst may also check the accuracy of calculations performed by other employees.


The role requires a self-starter able to work independently in an office environment.

Financial Reporting:

+ Review accounting data for accuracy

+ Responsible for monthly project management reporting, including variance analysis

+ Prepares financial reports for Directors and provides commentary

+ Oversees financial planning and prepares leaders for review with executive management team

+ Assist senior management team in developing and preparing quarterly guidance and forecast updates to support decision making

+ Prepares data/charts for Annual Shareholder's meeting

+ Produces annual reports and registrations for commercial rent and property tax filings in multiple states

Financial Planning and Analysis:

+ Prepares quarterly financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company's financial performance

+ Participate in the annual budgeting and strategic planning process

+ Maintain the company's current year and long-term forecasts

Client Finance:

+ Produce detailed year end schedules for accountants - tax return and reviewed Financial Statements

+ Perform ad hoc analyses and support overall finance function

+ Financial software system management (MS Dynamics SL Solomon)

Required Skills and Experience

Required Industry Skills:

+ Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field

+ 5+ years professional work experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, and/or corporate finance

+ Demonstrated track record of academic and professional excellence

+ Advanced financial modeling skills

+ Experience managing financial software systems (specifically MS SL (Solomon)

Personal Qualities:

+ Strong analytical, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a complex system and business integrated environment

+ Inherent interest in operational efficiency and maximizing financial performance

+ Ability to juggle several unique tasks at once
