Edgehill, a Benchmark Senior Living Community inStamford, CT is seeking a "Business Office / HR Coordinator' to Jointhe Edgehill Business Office who will report directly to the Controller. The positionwill assist the Controller with month-end financial analysis. Other duties willinclude, but not limited providing clerical and administrative support to theHuman Resources segment of the Business Office.

The ideal candidate for this position will have thefollowing


* 2-5 years of business office experience, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, new hire orientation, assisting residents, and financial work

* Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills

* High level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Self-starter, resourceful and ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

* Ability to maintain confidential information


A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Job Status: Full Time 40 hours/week - Position will require the ability to work a Variable and Flexible schedule that will require weekends

Job Requirements


* Track all community accounting changes and appropriate documentation, including move-ins, move-outs, credits, proposed rate adjustment and other related changes or corrections

* Prepare and record all invoices for community

* Review financial statement variances with Controller

* Provide oversight on resident billing in Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing

* Provide administrative support to the Controller for new hire paperwork and onboarding plans

* Facilitate the pre-employment process including background and reference checks

* Provide administrative support in the new hire process for candidates, including paperwork and facilitation of new hire orientation

* Criminal Background Check: Ensure that all pages of forms are completed properly. When cleared, send supervisors email advising that they have been cleared

* Review all forms & other paperwork new employee's need to fill out

* I9's: Check for accuracy & completion of all forms; review 'acceptable documentation' to make sure they are in compliance with the law

* Support HR programs (e.g., talent reviews, performance reviews, coaching and counseling)

* Provide administrative support with benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

* Coordinate and track employees of Leave of Absence or FMLA

* Assist with Recruitment

* Assist Executive Director and Controller with special projects as assigned

* Daily Duties - Filing (maintain employee records, maintain current and accurate filing systems for documents, correspondence, and reports), follow-up on emails & voice messages upon arrival
