Coordinates and performs a variety of operational and administrative duties to support the strategic direction of Human Resources and Connecticut Children's. Activities include, but are not limited to, onboarding/off boarding, data integrity, process/workflow, and training of various HR processes.

Job Responsibilities

Employee Pre-Employment and On-Boarding Coordination

* Maintain requisition log for Position Review Committee including creating and managing MS Excel spreadsheet to track requisitions for approval, determination, and processing through Talent Acquisition system.

* Act as a single point of contact and build meaning relationships with prospective employees including:

* Preparing "Welcome Packets" and reviewing content with applicants.

* Initiating new hires into HR Information Systems and requesting network account and email address.

* Scheduling Occupational Health Services appointments and ensuring clearance is obtained.

* Verifies (and enters data into multiple system) of all pre-employment information including applicable licenses/certifications, signed offer letter, transcripts, background checks including Verisys/FACIS, initiate/complete I-9.

* Partners with Compensation for creation of position and/or job number in preparation for newly created roles to be submitted to Position Review Committee.

* Ensure workforce's organizational hierarchy updated and accurate in respective HRIS systems.

Data Maintenance

* Verify transfer of all new hire and position change data from Talent Acquisition system to HR System

* Process job, supervisor and related changes requested through Manager workflow, and other data updates as assigned.

* Run data integrity reports according to established schedule and correct issues identified.

Performance Management

* Perform monthly Halogen upload and maintenance.

* Manage the HR Compensation and Performance Management Mailboxes and act as a single point of contact by responding to inquiries via phone or electronic mail during critical year end process.

* Submit form creation and/or changes to system based on changes from previous year end cycle.

* Review hierarchy and ensure it is consistent with ADP in order to accurately coordinate annual form assignment.

Employee Termination and Off-Boarding Coordination

* Ensures that employees terminating their employment with Connecticut Children's adhere to our regulatory off-boarding including by providing (as necessary) step-by-step instructions to managers on process to be followed including to submit termination notifications through automated/electronic portal (ADP).

* Coordinates changes and ensures electronic survey is functional and updated.
