Responsible for leading Aftermarket Sales campaigns and driving them to closure to support the Commercial Engines Aftermarket sales and profit objectives, including customer interaction and coordination with multiple organizational teams. Develop and implement strategies to maximize opportunities assuring sales targets are met or exceeded. Develop and maintain successful relationships with customers, conduct presentations, negotiations and closings. Obtain and communicate up-to-date information on customer's plans and requirements. Expected to understand the market, identify opportunities and threats, develop strategies to meet objectives and mobilize the resources of P&W to execute those initiatives. Establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships with Commercial Engines New Engine Business sales teams, Business Unit General Managers and their teams, engineering, operations, legal and financial organizations to assess and support existing or potential aftermarket sales opportunities and manage strategic business opportunities. The ability to integrate ACE tool usage into the sales process is necessary.

Evaluate opportunities to ensure successful market penetration of new services. Coordinate with operations to ensure customer commitments are met and establish production readiness goals for new offerings. Maintain close interaction with financial organization, quarterly sales forecasting process, pricing issues and support of profitable goals of Aftermarket Business.


Basic Qualifications:

* BA/BS degree w/6-10+ years experience or

* MA/MS degree w/4-7+ years experience

* 5+ years aerospace related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Sales and Negotiations experience strongly preferred

* Proven track record of using analytic skills to drive strategic business decisions

* Candidate must demonstrate superior interpersonal skills and global perspective as this assignment requires significant interface with cross-functional teams and personnel, internal to P&W as well as with P&W customers

* Applicant must be proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and have excellent presentation skills
