The Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket organization is seeking Aftermarket Business Development Managers for its Engine Services business, reporting to the Director of Fleet Programs.

In this key role, the Business Development Manager will be instrumental in driving and delivering on Commercial Engines/Aftermarket's growth and profitability plans by:

* Driving and influencing Aftermarket FHA and FMP portfolio growth strategy, in coordination with Commercial Engines/Aftermarket sales.

* Assess and advise on FHA/FMP contract development for key sales campaigns in order to maximize profitability, mitigate risk and deliver value to the customer.

* Selectively participate in direct negotiation with customers as the FHA/FMP business expert.

* Identify and develop new and enhanced service product offerings.

* Develop, document, and enhance value propositions for key customer segments.

* Assess growth processes (campaign support and product development), recommend improvements and drive implementation.

This role will require expertise in Aftermarket Service. A successful candidate will also demonstrate strong capabilities in:

(1) Business judgment to systematically avoid and mitigate risk,

(2) Business innovation to find creative solutions where required,

(3) Customer communication skills, and

(4) Forward thinking and planning.

These roles are critical due to the importance of growth in this business's value creation strategy, the current and expected campaign demand levels, and the increased level of fleet management group support requested by the Commercial Engine sales team.


Basic Qualifications:

* BA/BS degree in relevant field

* Minimum 7 years of business experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* MBA degree preferred

* Excellent analytical skills

* Experience with go-to-market strategy and/or product development

* Experience with business tools, e.g. customer segmentation, needs assessment, competitive benchmarking

* Ability to lead others via influence skills

* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

* Ability to work with senior executives, and to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization

* Bias towards action and implementation

* Ability to create internal alignment and buy-in
