Technical Fellow - Lubrication Systems (Gas Turbine)

Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Company (UTC), currently seeks an experienced, innovative and team-focused Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Fellow to serve as Lubrication System Fellow responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance across the Mechanical Systems organization programs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

(1) Oversee the design of lubrication systems and components for all commercial and military engines,

(2) Serve as a reviewer at product and tech reviews,

(3) Improvements and advancement of Lubrication System design/analysis procedures,

(4) Lubrication systems analytical practitioner skills development and advancement and

(5) Lead technical expert for all lubrication system related issues

Experience / Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required

* Must have minimum of 15 years experience in the design and development of aerospace gas turbine engine lubrication systems

* Experience with analytical modeling of lubrication systems; Easy5 capability preferred

* Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams to resolve high visibility technical issues

* Must have outstanding written/verbal communications and presentation skills

* Demonstrated ability to successfully work collaboratively other P&W system and component owners, suppliers and customers

Preferred Qualifications:

* MS degree preferred

* Participation in aero engine lubrication industry associations a plus

* Experience with both commercial and military programs desired
