Job Description Summary:

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting and managing the data documentation, tracking, and reporting needs of the Siting and Construction Services department.


* Develop a basic knowledge of the number of transmission-related projects, including basic scope, schedule and cost.

* Develop tracking mechanisms and related databases to document, house, and monitor a large number of project-related outreach activities. Integrate the ability to run various reports as needed to analyze and process data. Ensure that such mechanisms and databases contain the most up-to-date information.

* Perform ad-hoc querying and reporting as requested by Management, or other SCS or Project Management Team members.

* Compile and report on Transmission's "Customer Service" key performance indicators (KPI) and other reporting metrics as required.

* Work with various internal departments as needed to gather project-related outreach activity data, including Project Management, Construction Management (including contractors), Field Outreach, Vegetation Management, Maintenance, Community Relations, Regulatory, etc.

* Act as liaison with IT as needed to "trouble shoot" issues with SCS-focused databases and other technology-based tools. Assist in the weekly construction activity (by town) web updates where required, working with Corporate Communications and IT.

* Develop and track the fulfillment of non-regulatory commitments in support of project activities, including Project Impact Mitigation agreements.

* Assist with the development and monitoring of SCS-related Purchase Orders and Material Requests.

* Monitor the transmission-project hotline and email inquiries; ensure prompt response per KPI protocol.

* Cross-train in other SCS disciplines to provide coverage as needed.

* Perform and implement special assignments, such as public open house logistics, as needed.

Technical Knowledge/Skill:

Strong understanding of database development, information technology solutions and application to business needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets, charts, reporting, and similar Strong ability to perform detail-based analysis Proven track record in planning, coordinating, and managing diverse projects Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, anticipate problems, and influence outcomes


Minimum of 5 years of data documentation activities or related experience, including tracking, monitoring and reporting.


Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar degree.
