HOMEBOUND TUTOR

The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and secure learning environment. Applications will be accepted until September 16, 2016 from qualified candidates for the position of Homebound Tutor for the 2016-2017 academic year. This position will be "on call" and used as needed throughout the school year to assist students who are unable to attend school. The number of hours per day/week worked by the Homebound Tutor will vary.

Work Year: On call position

Hourly Wage: $36.61

Effective Date: ASAP

Duties Will Include:

* Devise and implement an instructional program for assigned students

* Meet with students as scheduled to provide instruction

* Maintain and submit reports detailing student progress

* Adjust student learning experiences as necessary

* Apply appropriate assessment instruments pertinent to area of instruction

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree

* Ability to work collaboratively with students, teaching staff and families

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Strong planning and organizational skills
