The Wethersfield Public Schools partner with the community and families in fostering our students' ongoing education in a safe and secure learning environment. Wethersfield High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated professional to serve as an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for this upcoming winter season. The assistant coach will provide guidance and direction to our boys basketball team under the leadership of our Head Basketball Coach. The chosen coach will be responsible for teaching and implementing offensive/defensive basketball game strategies, developing and honing player fundamentals, and teaching the sport with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm.

This position is vital to our school as the incumbent has regular and constant interaction with our students, parents/families and community. To be considered, candidates must hold all required certifications and trainings and must have prior experience coaching in the sport. Additionally, candidates must be available to attend after school, evening and weekend practices/games as dictated by the Athletic Department.
