We are recruiting 2 full-time Outside Sales Representatives in Connecticut; one for the Fairfield County East to the Rhode Island border; and the other for New Haven, central Connecticut west to the New York border.

Our client is a 75+ year old privately owned and one of the largest building materials supplier across the Mid-Atlantic with a diverse portfolio of products and services from building materials and supplies to construction design and engineering services, including millwork shops, lumber yards and showrooms strategically located across the region. They are looking to create a professional team to make a positive impact across Connecticut. starting with these 2 Outside Sales Representatives opportunities.

The Position:
The two opportunities available are to represent the company in Connecticut - for an Outside Sales Representative-East to cover Fairfield County East to the Rhode Island border; and Outside Sales Representative-West covering New Haven, central Connecticut west to the New York border.

You will have will have a proven track record of outside sales success, growth and prior experience selling lumber and building materials to contractors in one of these two Connecticut markets. You will have dedicated inside Sales/Support; in-house Engineering Division; in-house Truss Plant; 100,000sf Millwork Facility; Precision End Trimmed EWP Floor Systems; Custom Shop capabilities; and much more as you:
  • Develop and manage relationships between customers and the company;
  • Sell and service established accounts, as well as prospect for new customers;
  • Self discipline and drive to identify and pursue profitable new business accounts
  • Sound organizational and planning skills including computer proficiency
