Superior Plus Energy Services is currently seeking a high energy, highly motivated, self-driven & disciplined field sales representative to join our team and make an immediate positive impact with our company. Our Commercial Energy Solutions Representative (CESR) the Commercial Energy Solutions Representative is responsible for commercial sales (business to business) within an assigned geographical territory, achieving both new customer acquisition and existing customer growth and retention targets across a portfolio of energy products & solutions. This role is a field sales resource, for whom most time is spent interacting face-to-face with prospective and existing customers and referral sources. It is expected that the CESR will meet or exceed sales goals for new commercial customers, achieve margin expectations, and maximize new customer satisfaction. The CESR will report to the Sales Manager and will have a daily partnership and accountability to the Customer Service Center Manager (CSCM) for which they are assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Acquisition of new commercial customers across a portfolio of products and solutions, which includes Propane, Power Fuels (gasoline, on/off road diesel) and heating oil

* Build annual business plans that include strategy commitments that lead to overachieving new customer delivery objectives

* Maximize weekly face to face time with prospective new customers (shift prospecting activities to align with customer availability ex: evenings & Saturdays, active participation in the local community ex: chamber of commerce, etc.)

* Network with fleet managers, contractors, town/city planners, HVAC companies & others to obtain new customer opportunities.

* Improve customer retention rates and service by utilizing tank monitor systems

* Assist with improving the Customer Service Representative's knowledge and understanding of our products and the sales/support process in which they will assist

* Maintain margins set by the Customer Service Center Manager (CSCM)

* Partner with the CSCM to set achievable customer expectations and apply those at all times

* Plan and facilitate frequent ride alongs with the Sales Manager

* Be a strong team player in order to best provide a positive, full cycle process for our customers


* Requires High School Diploma or equivalent

* Minimum 2 years experience in direct customer sales

* The ideal candidate will have sales experience within the Propane/Oil industry or experience with outside residential sales and customer service

* Microsoft Office computer skills required and experience with a CRM tool ( preferred.


* Competitive compensation based on your experience with annual increase based on performance. This is a salary plus commission position.
