The leader of Stapling Marketing is responsible for our Stapling Business

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and development a team of high-performing global marketers to achieve prescribed goals.

Manage P&L for Stapling COT.

Work collaboratively across specialty teams to drive Stapling portfolio growth and pipeline.

Work with the specialty organizations to identify and execute against market development initiatives that drive Stapling COT growth.

Develop POI & Roadmap Planning for Stapling COT.

Lead construction of Stapling Annual Operating Plan.

Lead 5 Year Strategic Planning Process for Stapling COT.

Drive identification of immediate, midterm and long term product gaps within the AST platform and provide solutions to fill the gaps.

Develop business cases / investment theses to identify required financial investment, return and timing.

Create opportunity modeling for new technology platforms including cannibalization / obsolescence of existing products.

Serve as divisional Portfolio Management Team lead.

Oversee Downstream Marketing budget and supervise mangers with 5-7 direct reports at IC & Analyst level.

Oversee Upstream Marketing budget and supervise managers with 5-7 direct reports at IC & Analyst level.

Coordinate global channel planning leveraging Regional Marketing & Sales relationships.

Build business cases in partnership with BD&L team.

Responsible for coordination and presentation of QBR report outs.

Collaborate with BD&L on terms & conditions of deals focused on business aspects.

Collaborate with Sales Leadership & Regional Marketing on revenue targets, comp and quota assumptions.

Work with Logistics to establish codes & forecasts in COV systems.


* BS or BA in Business, Marketing

* MBA preferred

* Product Management and Global/Regional Marketing experience

* Strategic Marketing experience

* Broad knowledge of the global surgical and interventional marketplaces

* Ability to work in a team environment and leverage cross functional skill sets

* Strong understanding of business and cross-functional requirements for product launch & sales

* Ability to build strong working relationships with international business partners

* Ability to quickly understand complex scenarios to make decisions and recommendations to upper management

* Strong analytical skills

* Transformational strategic thinker/change agent

* Exceptional quantitative, analytical, written, verbal skills

* Ability to develop and present complex business reviews/presentations

* Powerful influencing skills with ability to gain support from all levels of organization while overcoming barriers to progress

* Strong cross-functional leadership, self-driven with ability to manage up; high level of interaction with senior management
