The Sensors and Integrated Systems (SIS) division in Cheshire, Connecticut has a position for a high-energy and organized Manufacturing Engineer Intern.

Are you looking for a great opportunity to provide on demand Engineering support to a complex production team in a well-established industry? If so, this is the opportunity for you!

As an Manufacturing Engineering intern, you will be helping ensure that production goals are met on a daily basis. You will interface with Design Engineering and Quality to resolve issues as they occur utilizing multiple root cause evaluation techniques. You will support process and tooling improvements for assembly opperations. In addition, you'll help develop plans to support the required rate of production for large scale aerospace manufacturing programs. You will learn valuable and popular software used in production and engineering environments, such as Teamcenter.

This Engineering Intern position will be a great opportunity to work on a small team and hold key responsibilities for process improvement on a production team. The daily requirements are technically challenging, providing you the opportunity to develop your engineering skill set.

Qualifications We need an Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing engineering intern who can work in a team environment and is capable of performing a variety of engineering tasks. Strong oral and written communication skills along with proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Participation in the INROADS program () is required


* College student in pursuit of a Bachelors Degree

* US Citizen or Permanent Resident

* Per UTC Internship Program requirements, student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher Education Student who is in the process of obtaining an Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering Bachelors degree
