TransAct?? Technologies, Inc., a dynamic publicly traded NASDAQ (TACT) company specializing in the design, manufacture, sales and service of specialized printers, terminals and software for specific vertical markets seeks a Regional Sales Representative to join the Sales team based in their Hamden, CT office.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director, Customer Experience, the Regional Sales Representative will manage the complete sales cycle from lead processing to closing, with a focus on our Accudate?? food rotation labeling systems. Responsibilities include:

* Lead Qualification: Quickly map client needs, understand pain-points and tie that back to the AccuDate's value proposition

* Web Demos: Effectively present the AccuDate Food Rotation Solution to prospective clients

* Product Fit and Value: Convey the capabilities and benefits of AccuDate's solution and challenge the status quo

* Closing: Negotiate and close new business

* Hand-off: Partner with Customer Success Rep. to ensure your clients have a smooth on-boarding process and receive the very best service, training and support

* Working with outside sales representatives as a part of an integrated sales effort

* Communication: Provide essential sales feedback to management team (wins/losses/challenges/etc.) and maintain accurate and current prospect/client information in our database


The Regional Sales Representative should possess the following:

* BA/BS Degree preferred in business or a related field and minimum of 2 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Two or more years B2B sales experience required

* Restaurant experience preferred

* Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas

* Excellent speaking, writing and presentation skills are essential

* Customer service and/or account management experience desired

* Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

* Strong organization and follow-through skills with a "get it done" attitude

* Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and other productivity applications

* Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or SugarCRM is ideal
