The Senior Manager, Marketing Activation is the strategic architect of Subway ?? campaigns and evergreen platforms. They are the intersection of ideas and media, partnering closely with the Brand Development team, Consumer Insights, Creative and Media to ensure a communication idea is properly integrated across the channels that best meet the Brands communications tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Take ownership of key time period by translating consumer insights and business analytics from Brand Strategy into powerful programs, promotions and consumer communications. Partner closely with internal teams and agencies to ensure our creative ideas and campaigns make most effective use of an integrated mix of owned, earned and paid channels and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technology. Communicate plans to key cross-functional teams inside and outside the organization to ensure clear understanding and strong sell-in that deliver optimal execution at restaurant. Evaluate results and identify key lessons learned for future planning considerations. Work with the Director, Marketing Activation to assess new marketing opportunities, optimize all creative deliverables and effectively resolve concerns. Manage, motivate and mentor an assistant marketing manager, including annual reviews and on-going recognition and feedback. Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal departments and outside resources. Requirements The successful candidate must have: BA/BS required; MBA a plus but not necessary given solid work experience. 10 - 12 years of experience in a marketing department or agency. Understanding of strategy experience in an advertising, digital or media agency. Experience with integrated advertising campaigns across multiple media channels and the ability to demonstrate its impact on the brand. Some experience analyzing campaign performance and an understanding of the role analytics plays in selling and measuring ideas. Experience with budgeting and ability to forecast, track and reconcile spending. Experience necessary for effective job performance: Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and eloquently present. Well organized and detail oriented. Immensely collaborative spirit with high emotional intelligence, and open to helping with any task. Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
