Human Resources Director
The Director of Human Resources will work directly with with Top Management to fill immediate needs and anticipate future human capital needs of the organization. Additional responsibilities are outlined below:
a. Develop and implement strategy to recruit talent across all levels of the entire organization.
b. Utilize Linked-In and other social networking and social media sites to form relationships with passive candidates
a. Ensure all new employees at all levels are being on-boarded effectively
b. Develop best-practices
3) L&D - Learning and Development
a. Partner with IT Dept to complete training documents and train regularly across all functional areas of the company
b. Build environment with high productivity and high morale
c. Manage employee performance
i. Set goals
d. Safety and Training
i. Chair Company Safety Meetings
ii. Advise on best practices
iii. Actively manage and measure occurrences with eye towards prevention of accidents and overall increase of safety awareness
a. Development to exceed job expectations
b. Ensure individual and group development
c. Assist managers and supervisors in effective work direction and management training
d. Provide coaching for development of managers as directed by their supervisors
5) Employee Reviews
a. Work with managers to ensure quality reviews are being administered regularly
b. 360 degree reviews
c. Develop specific and custom training programs for identified needs
6) Manage Payroll and Benefits coordination.
1) Minimum 7 years HR and Recruitment Experience across all levels of an organization
2) Bachelor's Degree required
3) Masters or Post Graduate Degrees preferred
4) Certifications in HR desired
5) Superb internet and social media networking skills and experience
6) Advanced Linked-In "Recruiter" experience a big plus
7) Top Notch and Polished Communication Skills
8) Excellent MS Office skills
9) Ability to both adapt to - and upgrade corporate culture to maximize employee engagement
Salary will be commensurate with experience.

This is where you come in: working closely with our executive team you will own the development of HR at Goldfarb Properties including improving and implementing policies and procedures, and becoming our Corporate Recruiter.
Goldfarb Properties owns and manages approximately 6,000 apartments in the New York metropolitan area. The family business recently entered its third generation, and has been in existence since 1953. The company owns and manages approximately 24 buildings, the majority of which are residential apartment buildings located in Northern New Jersey, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Westchester. A sampling of our major commercial tenants includes the City of New York Board of Elections, The City of New York Human Resources Administration, Mount Sinai Hospital, St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital, Bronx Lebanon Hospital, St. John's Episcopal Hospital, Bank of America, CVS, and various other national retailers.
