Job Description

Specific Requirements

Desired Skills:

* Working knowledge of in vitro diagnostic assays.

* Broad chemistry/biochemistry knowledge of buffer systems, enzymes, surfactants, preservatives, statistical analysis, design of experiments, and six sigma techniques.

* Must be hands-on, willing to perform laboratory experiments and execute according to plan.

* Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information both verbally and in writing

* Effective team work, networking and ability to take initiative

* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word in the preparation of reports containing data presented in tables and graphs


* Assist in assay development projects from conception (sourcing raw materials) to completion (transfer to manufacturing and commercialization).

* Provide support in investigating processes involved in the manufacture and quality control of the immunoassays or automated instrumentation under investigation.

* Conduct extensive lab work designing and executing experiments, and analyzing resultant data.

* Troubleshoot and resolve semi complex problems.


BA/ BS in biochemistry or a related discipline with at least three year experience in a relevant field or a MS in a relevant field.
