Duties& Responsibilities

* Responsible for serving menu items in a timely and precise manner

* Coach team to follow recipes when creating menu items

* Has a strong passion for food and comprehends culinary vocabulary

* Provides ongoing training to all current and new LifeCafe team members in regards to taste and look of menu items

* Managesoverall assembly operations

* Effectivelycommunicates real-time objectives to LifeCafe team members

* Samplesfood to understand flavors and is able to articulate recipe needs

* Identifiesopportunities and gives guidance to LifeCafe team members when needed

* Demonstrates the ability to read body language of guests needs without asking

* Maximizesprofit by controlling food costs through recipe adherence

* Inspires,trains, coaches and develops LifeCafe staff by providing clear direction andfeedback

* Providesan energetic, consistent and friendly environment for LifeCafe team members andmembers.

Essential Functions

* Ensures cleanliness of the LifeCafe using all 5 senses:

* Sight to ensure Cafe is neat and orderly

* Sound to ensure music/ sound levels are appropriate

* Touch to ensure floors, countertops, etc are clean and dry

* Taste to ensure food & beverages in the caf?? are up-to-standards

* Smell to ensure the club is fresh and odor free

* Supports and articulates the Life Time mission statement

* Adheres to company policies and procedures

Education &Experience

* Highschool diploma or GED

* Minimum 1-3 years of restaurant experience preferred

* Experience in meeting and exceeding goals in a performance basedculture

* Experience in Leadership/Managing a team.

Licenses / Certifications /Registrations

* CPR/AED certification required within the first30 days of hire

* ServSafeCertification or equivalent certification

Knowledge,Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

* Excellent customer service skills

* Ability to motivate others and foster teamwork

* Ability to build relationships with members

* Ability to resolve customer concerns in a professional, tactful manner

* Knowledge of menu ingredients

* Ability to multi-task and learn quickly

* Detail orientated, organized and professional

* Friendly, outgoing, and able to work with a wide range of personalities

* Extensive knowledge of all Life Caf?? policies and procedures

* Ability to work with knives, slicers and hot food

* Ability to operate point of sales computer and cash register

* Knowledge of standard office procedures and software
