HRIS Specialist

We are currently looking for an entry level HRIS Specialist position to join our corporate HR team. This position was created due to our growth and continued demand to manage our core HR pay and benefit systems. This position will be based at our worldwide headquarters in Wallingford, CT and will report to the Sr. HRIS Analyst position and will work very closely with other members of the Corporate HR team. Key responsibilities of this position include:

* Support Ultimate Software's UltiPro Application, Customizations, Integrations, Cognos Report Writer, Security, Training, Workflow, and Self-Service functionality.

* Maintain secured email system user access and user support.

* Act as first level support for US divisions' HRIS system related issues, imports, exports, and act as liaison with Ultimate Software to resolve issues.

* Assist in the development or audit of system upgrades, patches, conversions, interfaces, and other developmental activities.

* Support the regular electronic file feeds process with all benefit vendors and resolve issues related to data files.

* Enrolling user in Ultimate software training courses and personally train end users.

* Assist divisions in Mass change/update via Ultipro application tools or MSSQL.

* Perform HR database audits to ensure data integrity and provide correction instruction to our divisions as needed.

* Create adhoc simple and complex reports via IBM Cognos report writers and MS SQL Query.

* Support new business acquisition HRIS implementation.

Knowledge/skills requirement:

* Bachelor's degree in Information System, knowledge of relational database, SQL, Transact SQL

* HRIS related experience a plus

* Ability to handle multiple tasks and keep tasks on schedule and work independently

* Highly organized and disciplined professional attitude

* Self-initiative, results-oriented approach to tasks

* Good analytical skills

* Ability to adapt to change in business and technology

* Interpersonal/People skills

* Power user of MS office
