We are looking for a motivated and innovative scientist to join the Protein Expression Sciences team. The successful candidate will be responsible for design and construction of expression vectors for production of antibodies and bispecific molecules across multiple therapeutic areas. We are looking for someone who can apply novel strategies and technologies to facilitate development of the next generation of antibody therapeutics.


* Design and construction of expression vectors for production of antibodies and antibody-based molecules.

* Recombinant cloning of antibody genes.

* Antibody sequence analysis including alignments to germ line and variable domain gene assignment.

* Mammalian cell transfection and Western blot characterization of recombinant proteins.

* Data management and presentations at departmental meetings.


* Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Immunology, Biology or related field with 0-5 years of post-doctoral experience.

* Extensive experience with general molecular biology skills such as PCR amplification and primer design, gel electrophoresis, ligations, bacterial transformations, mini and maxi-prep plasmid isolation, and DNA sequence analysis is required.

* Experience with next generation sequencing technologies or high throughput cloning technologies is a plus.

* Proven experience and knowledge of recombinant antibody construction and design is desirable.

* The successful candidate is a team player with strong data management, organizational and communication skills.
