Aon Is Looking For an Account Executive/Broker I

As part of anindustry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients bydelivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Account Management business group within AonRisk Solutions, in either Stamford, CT or New York City. As an Account Executive/Broker I, you willreport directly to the Director, Account Management Group.

Your Impact as an Account Executive/Broker I


* Anemerging leader who is responsible for the day-to-day account management andfor broking (or supervising the brokerage of) at least 70% of the premium forher/ his Commercial Risk clients (defined as clients below $50,000 in ARSincome or more; typically without a professional risk manager).

* Seeks todevelop into Hybrid II or III roles; serves no more than 30% of time working asAccount Specialist.

* Learningto build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients at seniorlevels within the company and to lead appropriate resources to address theclient's risk/capital management needs and thereby retain and grow a profitablebook of business.

* Throughservice, pricing, consultation and reporting, promotes the value Aon deliversto clients.

* Isresponsible for commission management on brokered products, includingutilization of the Commission Grid and other Aon broking levers.

YouBring Knowledge and Expertise


* 3-5 years experiencewith Broking or Underwriting, preferably within P&C. Experience with financial lines would be aplus.

* Experience workingwith commercial clients is preferable.

* Ability to buildstrong relationship with both internal and external clients.

* Manages input to andfollow-up on invoicing and receivables process for assigned clients, ensuringtimely collections.

* Ensures that accountdata supports the integrity of company accounting and tracking systems. Managesexpenses.

* Ensures operationalexcellence, including adherence to service management requirements (e.g.,Transparency & Disclosure, Aon Compliance requirements, Client PromiseMethodology).

* Uses Aon tools andimplements processes.

* Pro-actively developsknowledge of sister Aon companies and seeks to identify and develop relevantcross sales opportunities and Aon tools, such as RiskConsole and AonLine.


* Bachelor'sdegree required

* CPCUa plus
