Pharmaceutical Sales Account Representative We are looking for sales professionals to add to our Pharmaceutical Sales Rep team. We want to attract sales achievers who want to work in the pharmaceutical, specialty, hospital, and/or biotech sales areas. In this field based, specialty sales representative opportunity you will be called upon to sell our healthcare products and services with key stakeholders in the medical community: including physicians, nurses, clinic managers, hospital administrators and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: The Sales Account Representative - Healthcare (Pharmaceutical) is responsible for developing plans for their business territory and executing on these plans in order to bring the greatest benefit to the greatest number of patients. In this role, you will convey complex clinical and pharmacology information to customers and key stakeholders so that all appropriate patients can benefit from therapy. You must be able to utilize strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships of trust that allow for directed probing to uncover the customer's needs and develop solutions within an insurance framework that meet these needs. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for us you will have to meet sales quotas by product promotion, education and comprehensive service to physicians, purchasers and other decision-makers. The primary objectives for this Sales Representative role include but are not limited to the following:Demonstrated success in effective engagement selling skills in a business-to-business and/ or health care administrator environment.Applied hospital negotiations and contracting experience in similar sales environment.Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines; ability to deliver clinical and scientific benefits and information in a sales environment.Ability to work effectively with Physicians, Nurses, Purchasing Agents and Clinicians.Proven relationship-building skills with key decision makers and key opinion leaders in the health care field.The ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, autonomy and flexibility.Effective time management, planning and administrative skills discipline.
