Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:Assist in gathering, analyzing, and maintaining Commercial and Medical Affairs Brand Team budgets and quarterly reforecastsWork with Brand Teams to address a variety of business/financial challengesAssist in analyzing quarterly budget to actual variance reports by Brand and cost centerServe as a liaison between Commercial/Medical Affairs and G&A to ensure optimal communication, information flow and company alignmentPrepare financial analysis in support of ad hoc requests and various special projectsWork closely with internal Finance colleagues for corporate needs and deliverables associated with Commercial dataManage internal financial systems, coordinating quarterly reforecast processes and ensuring data integrity.Identify process improvements and areas to increase support for both Brand Team s as well as cost centersEnsure 100% compliance with all Regeneron standards operating procedures and policies, as well as governmental and industry regulations governing the sales, marketing, and overall commercialization of prescription pharmaceuticalsDevelops long-range plans, budgets, and resource allocations (including headcount) for Commercial operations.Implements tools and manages the resource planning activities, including FTE utilization across multiple diverse programs and cost centers Experience and Required Skills: Technical Skills:Basic understanding of Commercialization of products in Biotech/Pharma industryBiotech/Pharma industry strongly preferredUnderstanding of Finance and Accounting principlesExtensive experience with MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPointExperience with Oracle platform (Hyperion) in an administrative capacityStrong leadership skills including meeting facilitation, cross-functional team integration, strategic thinking, and advising. Must be able to create an environment for collaborative work for the team to be effective.Extensive technical expertise in finance, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of automated systems for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, planning, and allocating resources for Commercial operations. Develops concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered to be an expert in the field within the organization.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to understand the micro and macro views of the Commercial organization and its financesProactive and analytical thinker with the ability to think outside the box and be adept at identifying areas for process improvementAbility to analyze Commercial financial data and prepare management reports. Strong modeling skills required.Required to produce accurate and timely financial budgets, forecasts, actuals, and variance analyses under tight deadlines.
