Coordinates & directs the warehouse/distribution operations to ensure they are contributing to the day to day functions and to the overall success of the District and CORT. These activities will either be performed personally or through subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities: Manage quality performance to ensure complete customer satisfaction for both external and internal customers. Work closely with all business partners to understand their service needs and implement solutions and practices that consistently deliver the expected service levels. Manage complete range of inventory control functions to ensure accurate inventory levels and product availability. Lead continuous improvement efforts and implementation of best-in-class distribution practices across all distribution facilities. Reinforce health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure a safe/secure work environment. Have an excellent opportunity to advance based on your experience and drive. Qualifications: will possess at least 2 years of successful management experience in distribution/warehouse operation of 5 or more employees; Must have valid drivers license with safe driving record; will have experience with bar-coded inventory management system, will be computer literate; will be able to lift 75 lbs on a regular and consistent basis; furniture knowledge a plus. The primary purpose of this job is to safely and efficiently deliver and install residential and office furnishings within the
agreed upon time frame and in accordance with the lease agreement.
