As the Visual Merchandising Manager, you will strive to deliver visual excellence each and every day.

Job Purpose: As the Visual Merchandising Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the visual aesthetics of the entire store to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience. The Visual Merchandising Manager contributes to the overall sales of the store by creating a visually inspiring environment and providing ongoing product knowledge training to all associates. You will oversee the execution and maintenance of merchandising directives carried out by your merchandising team while delivering World Class Service. You will be responsible for all communication, direction, and delegation related to the physical presentation of the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Role model World Class Service and provide consistent coaching to all employees to ensure G.U.E.S.T service behaviors are being performed

+ Direct and implement company visual/merchandising planograms in appropriate time frames to drive store sales

+ Assist with training of new and existing employees to ensure uniformity and consistency in visual projects

+ Effectively lead other department coordinators and specialists in all areas of visual presentation and work collaboratively with them to ensure a harmonious physical presentation

+ In partnership with the Visual Merchandising Team, drive innovation and seek creative solutions to merchandising problems that arise, i.e. lack of space, inconsistencies in floor layout, product sell through, etc.

+ Develop a strong relationship with the traveling merchandising team, Store Managers, District Managers and corporate partners

+ Maintain awareness of all current promotions in order to share them with customers and how to process them correctly at the Point of Sale

+ Champion new product launches by being the expert in vendor and item product information and employee training

+ Ensure all marketing and promotion signage is up to date and placed correctly

+ Ensure all means of communication are acted upon in a timely fashion

+ Coordinate organization efforts with the Store Team Leader to effectively communicate merchandising expectations with the entire staff

+ Perform management functions as expected by the management team: This would include but is not limited to: opening and closing of the store, management functions on point of sale, managing the sales floor during assigned times, coordinating break schedule, etc.

+ Capture accurate and valid customer information at the point of sale to support company's new customer acquisition strategy

+ Previous experience in specialty retail visual merchandising is required

+ College degree preferred (preferably in visual merchandising)

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

+ Ability to adapt to and embrace change

+ Professional attire, demeanor and appearance required

+ Possess the resourcefulness to be a motivated and organized self-starter who embodies the self-confidence to problem solve, operate strategically, and act as a team builder

+ Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques

+ Willingness to travel to new store openings, store remodels, etc.
