POSITION SUMMARY: The Meridian Medical Management Medical Application Support Representative reports to the Customer/Software Support Manager. The Medical Application Support Representative plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service skills and responding to customer questions in a timely manner regarding VertexDr software. The Medical Application Support Representative models the organization's mission to improve physicians' profitability and business processes through best-of-breed technology, service and information. MAIN POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Provide appropriate customer service to internal and external customers on VertexDr software applications. Troubleshoot client's software issues by phone and remote connectivity. Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, or on-line requests for assistance or information. Records and documents support activities into the Help Desk Call Tracking and Reporting System. Meets weekly with help desk team to discuss trends of inquiries and items difficult to answer. Attends training sessions on new software enhancement/upgrades and provides input for development of user manuals for these products. Assists persons with disabilities to use the software, offering additional adaptive features if needed. Medical Billing knowledge required. Must have doctor office experience. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS: Proficiency with billing software, Microsoft Office, email and internet. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits both an ability to work independently, as well as a willingness to collaborate with team members. Ability to follow through on assignments to their completion. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required 2 or more years of experience in field working with multiple software packages SQL & HL7 experience a plus Meridian Medical Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer
