Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Digital Experience Sales Specialist

The Digital Experience Sales Specialist is a sales representative with a proven sales track record. As a leader on the sales floor they work as a collaborative sales resource to drive sales focused on selling Oracle s WebCenter suite of solutions both on prem and in the cloud for Content Management, Imaging, Portal, and WEM solutions. They are an expert in resource and a domain expert to their peers and FMW sales teammates. The primary focus of the role is to sell a complete Oracle solution, drive enterprise programs, and act as prime strategist in competitive situations.

/ Preferred Qualifications: /

* Demonstrated Quota achievement selling Middleware Products and Services including: Cloud, ECM, Portal, Records Management, and/or Imaging products

* Demonstrated ability to Sell Solutions , understand a customer problem and apply Oracle technology to solve it

* Global Account Experienceability to sell Enterprise level Middleware Solutions for Large Deployments

* Demonstrated Success in managing a matrix-based pre-sales team

* Ability to clearly articulate both a technical solution as well a solution to a business problem Intranets, Websites, Extranets, Portals, Document Management, Digital Asset Management, Web Content Management, and Imaging

* Ability to articulate the WebCenter message to both an Functional (Applications) LOB s as well as IT Technical (Architects & Developers) Customer Audience

* Vertical Industry Expertise: Retail, Financial Services, Communications, Manufacturing/Hi Tech, Healthcare Payer, Healthcare Provider

* Capability to Develop and Advise Customers on Successful Software Deployment plans and alternatives

* Ability to deliver a Technical Presentation without a pre-sales engineer


These positions carry quarterly and annual quotas. Specific responsibilities include:

* Bring focus to selling a business value/solution

* Work closely with the virtual team (Oracle/Direct/and Field Core Tech Account Managers, Field Fusion Middleware Technology Sales Reps, Sales Consultants, Business Development, Product Marketing and the Technology Business Unit) to plan and execute a winning strategy

* Cold call for new prospects on a daily basis

* Mine the installed base to upsell/migrate existing customers

* Mine the existing pipeline to uncover WC opportunities

* Train the FMW Account Team to position and sell the various components of the WebCenter Suite offering, including joint calls and mentoring whenever necessary

* Integrate with the Application Sales Team to determine fits within their customer/prospect space

Preferred Qualifications:

* BS or BA degree, MBA a plus

* Technical or application sales experience with a focus on solution selling to line of business leaders and C-Level executives

* Ability to understand Oracle Fusion Middleware roadmap relative to product components, technologies, and solutions

* Knowledge of competing technologies in the area of Portal, Content, BPM, PaaS and Mobility

* Exceptional presentation skills

* Exceptional time management and organization skills
