Credit Manager-2 - Credit Manager - Credit Analyst Leading Real Estate Company!

As a Credit Manager for Goldfarb Properties, your foremost goal will be to take ownership of daily credit analysis activities. Your past experience will enable you to implement innovative processes and procedures to improve upon the skills of our talented team, leading to a higher level of customer service. Experience reading credit reports, W2s and paystubs, coupled with your past successful credit decisions will enable you to make sound recommendations. Refined attention to detail, as well as analytical and reconciliation skill sets, will ensure that analysis and reports are complete and accurate. Your knowledge of credit will facilitate your method of minimizing the outstanding past due receivables, and reducing bad debt write-offs. Interacting on various levels within our organization, especially with inside and outside sales representatives and customer service, partnered with your excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) will ensure effectiveness in credit/collections justifications and recommendations within our organization Your knowledge of credit laws, preferred experience with Fair Housing laws and proficiency in Microsoft Office, coupled with your abilities to negotiate and to interact in a positive, upbeat manner with others will set you apart. Credit Manager Job Description

1) Title: Credit Manager

2) New Rochelle Location:

524 North Avenue New Rochelle, NY 10801

3) Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

4) Reports to: Compliance Manager

5) Description: The Credit Manager will be responsible for reviewing all apartment applications and applying corporate credit policy and guidelines to determine apartment rental eligibility.

i) Review, research and verify credit, payment and income history to determine what additional documentation is necessary to approve applicants.

ii) Evaluate, provide analysis and application determination to rental offices in timely manner. (same day turnaround is the goal)

iii) Provide reporting to Executives, along with recommendations for application qualifications.

iv) Work with ownership to create and enhance credit policy, with the goal of continuous improvement.

v) Attend collections meetings to monitor failed credit accounts and improve processes.

vi) Monitor violations of credit policies and report to management.

6) Additional Duties:

i) General Accounting and Finance duties as assigned.

ii) May work on MCI charges and IAI processing.

iii) Assist Manager in any way he/she sees fit.

7) Qualifications

a) BA or BS in Business field

b) 2-5 years of experience in related field

c) Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal experience required.

d) Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

e) Attention to detail

f) Strong Computer Skills: MS Outlook, Word and Excel

g) Yardi experience a Plus

h) Strong understanding of credit reporting agencies, policies and metrics

i) Positive "Can-Do" attitude is a MUST
