Overview: Assists in developing, implementing and coordinating the execution of marketing campaigns and strategies to drive traffic and lead generation campaigns across all of the UBM Life Sciences media properties. In executing plans to increase site traffic and drive lead generation programs, this position will work closely in participation with Sales, Project Management, Web Ops, Ad Ops, Audience Development and Marketing to drive revenue growth.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produces HTML emails to drive traffic and lead generation across sold products
  • Collaborates with project management, editorial, sales and marketing to develop and curate content for audience engagement campaigns
  • Coordinates with Web Ops and Ad Ops to schedule deployments; optimizing campaign timing to offset list fatigue and drive audience engagement
  • Monitors, analyzes, and report son campaigns and web metrics
  • Assists in database analysis to provide segmentation recommendation and lead projections for prospective projects
  • Assists AD management in developing project timelines and follows assigned projects from inception to completion.
  • Works closely with internal and external resources to develop email marketing materials
  • Supports sales teams by running ad hoc reports to respond to client inquiries
  • Assists in analyzing user-level pathing behavior to drive product development and sale
  • Performs miscellaneous data entry for database maintenance and campaign reporting
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience in marketing, data retrieval, complex reporting or department operations support. Experience with HTML and Adobe Dreamweaver also strongly required. The candidate must have advanced Excel skills and an ability to learn new operational systems as required. Familiarity with ESPs (Email Service Providers) strongly recommended. Experience working with Microsoft Access strongly recommended.

OTHER KEY SUCCESS ATTRIBUTES:

Good interpersonal skills required to interact effectively. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, demonstrated communication skills (both oral and written), and the ability to track and direct a number of properties in totally different fields. Experience with Photoshop (or similar program) a plus.
